Those “of” This World are Blind
Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Jesus taught that our flesh bodies are nothing in themselves. It is the “spirit” or “mind” that gives life to our bodies. Then He concluded His point by saying that THE WORDS HE SPOKE WERE SPIRIT AND LIFE. So The Words of Christ give Life to our bodies.
Joh 14:15-16 If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
The “Comforter” is The Holy Spirit or Mind of Christ Jesus, which is given to everyone who enters into The New Covenant.
Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
The Comforter is also The Spirit of Truth that no one who is of this world can receive, because they cannot see Him and cannot know Him. Only God’s Elect can know Him; and He dwells with us. And now, after our Lord’s Ascension, He is in us.
Who are God’s Elect? Those Special People called out of this world who love God’s Word.
We are become God’s People and have entered The New Covenant in The Blood of Christ and have received The Holy Spirit, which is The Spirit of Truth. So we have received our sight and can see and have received our hearing and can hear and understand.
Joh 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
Satan is the “prince” or “son (lower case) of God” of this world. And all who are of this world are in bondage to Satan.
Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
The Lord uses the word “world” to represent all of the people of Satan’s world. So the people of this world hated Christ and they have hated God’s Elect throughout the centuries.
Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Jesus explains that if we were of the same mind as the people of this world, then they would love us because we would be like them. But we are not like them because The Lord chose us out of this world, so the people of this world hate us, just as they hated Him.
Joh 17:13-14 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Jesus taught us God’s Word in Spirit and in Truth. And because we study His Word, the people of this world today hate us just as their ancestors hated Jesus.
Joh 17:15-17 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
We are “sanctified” or “set apart” from this world by The Truth, which is God’s Word.
Joh 17:25-26 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
The Lord has declared unto us The Name of The Father. How can God’s Love for Christ be in us? And how can Christ be in us?
Rev 19:11-12 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
This Second Rider on a White Horse is our Lord when He returns to establish His Millennial Kingdom. His Name is written, but no man knows it, only He Himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
The Name of The Only Begotten Son of God is THE WORD OF GOD. The Only Begotten Son and The Father are One, therefore this is also The Name of The Father. This is how God’s Love for Christ is in us. This is how Christ is in us. We who know and believe in The Name have Eternal Life, because The Word of God dwells in us.
Those of this Satanic world CANNOT SEE THE NAME even if they should read it right from the pages of The Bible. Because they are SPIRITUALLY BLIND, and cannot see The Spirit of Truth and cannot hear Him because they cannot know Him.
Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.
