Election — Part 6

Everyone who comes to repentance and becomes obedient to God’s Law, and who enters into The New Covenant, is part of God’s Election. Jesus explained this fact to His Disciples.

Mat 13:10-11  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

The word “parables” is from the Greek word “par-ab-ol-ay’” which means “a similitude (“parable”), that is, (symbolically) fictitious narrative (of common life conveying a moral), apoth gm or adage.” In The Old Testament, the same type of speech are Proverbs which also are Dark Sayings much of the time.

When Jesus taught publicly, He taught using Parables or Dark Sayings. Why? Because He did not want the public to understand The Mysteries that He was speaking about. But He did want His Chosen Disciples to understand The Mysteries fully. In fact, God’s Elect were Selected back in The First Earth Age for this very purpose, to serve Him in This Second World.

Isa 6:8-10  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

The Lord commanded His prophets, and also The Messiah, to teach publicly in Dark Sayings, because He did not want them to understand The Scriptures. So He said, speak to them in a way so that they will hear the words but not understand them, and see the point but not actually perceive it. Most people tend to think they know everything already and are unwilling to have an open mind to a new way of thinking. They become stubborn and in a sense brainwashed as they grow older, holding onto the world view and doctrines of the majority of people of their communities and churches while growing up.

The word “healed” is from the Hebrew word “raw-faw’” which means “properly to mend (by stitching), that is, (figuratively) to cure.” So The Lord did not want to Heal them and Save them.

Isa 6:11-13  Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land. But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

How long will The Lord prevent them from understanding His Word? Until they are completely made destitute and desolated, even until The End of The World, when all who are alive in The Last Days will be tried during The Tribulation of The Antichrist. Only The Holy Seed, The Elect Children, will be Healed, given Salvation, and Preserved during The First Tribulation and will Receive Eternal Life at the return of Jesus Christ.

Mat 13:12-13  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

The more one has, the more he will get. And those who have little will lose everything in the end. People of sincere hearts and minds reverence The Lord and seek to obey His Will by repentance. They pray for Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, and Discretion every day, which can only come from God. And The Lord answers their prayers and gives them more and more in abundance as they study His Word day after day. But most people are not focused on reverence to God, but are busy with the things of this world. They do not pray and do not study The Word and do not receive anything.

Mat 13:14-15  And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:  For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Jesus quoted from Isaiah to show His Disciples that teaching this way is by commandment, because only God’s Elect will be in The First Resurrection. And everyone else will still be among the Spiritually Dead during The Day of The Lord, The Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ.

Mat 13:16-17  But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

The Elect in The Last Days are given Knowledge of The Mysteries even beyond the understanding of The Prophets of old time, even though The Holy Spirit in them gave them the utterances to speak and to have a scribe set down in writing.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

Election — Part 7

When we see an old friend, we immediately approach him and greet him warmly to show our affection and desire to spend some more time with him. But when we see a stranger, we usually have no reason to even approach him, so we don’t. And all who truly love God are glad when they feel close to Him and want to spend time with Him, but all others pay The Lord no attention.

Joh 14:23-24  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

Jesus explained how this simple fact about the difference of those who Loved Him and those who didn’t was going to be very important to His Disciples so that they would maintain self discipline at all times.

Joh 14:25-26  These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

After Jesus resurrected and ascended back to Heaven, the Disciples were not left alone for very long. Because at The Set Time He sent to them His Holy Spirit, His Holy Mind, to comfort them as their closest Friend, and to “teach them in all things.”

Joh 16:12-15  I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Holy Spirit is The Spirit of Truth which The Lord sent to be with the Disciples to continue teaching them even greater things than they had already been taught. And even for us, The Comforter, The Spirit of Truth, is our personal guide into the deeper meaning of The Scriptures, and remains with us all the days of our Lives.

Heb 10:12-17 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

This is The New Covenant, and it is reserved for The Elect to receive. All others simply have no sincere interest in receiving it, as they were foreordained not to have. They think they know everything already, and are unfit to learn anything new.

All who receive The New Covenant will receive the promise of Eternal Life by taking part of The First Resurrection, and for now will be taught the full understanding of The Word of God. But we must strive to make our Election a certainty, and maintain the strictest discipline, because ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED THE NEW COVENANT CAN COMMIT THE UNPARDONABLE SIN.

And in this fact we can understand why all other people in this world are not permitted to know the hidden Mysteries of God’s Word, because then they would be held accountable to God. So in this we can see God’s Protective Love for all of His Children, even the ignorant, because their ignorance is for them a CLOAK OF INNOCENCE.

Heb 6:4-6  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

After one repents and enters The New Covenant, he is given The Holy Mind of Christ. But if he later becomes APOSTATE and turns away to commit wilful sin, which is open rebellion against God, he can never be forgiven, not in this world or in The Millennium. He will NOT be in The First Resurrection and instead will face The Great White Throne Judgement with all of the “Dead.”

My friends, I don’t see how it could be possible that anyone with The Holy Spirit can ever turn away, but all the more reason for caution.

Heb 10:23-27  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

The Elect must maintain self-discipline in our service to Christ so that in the end we are counted worthy of Eternal Life, because when we enter The New Covenant we lose our cloak of innocence. The Holy Spirit enables us to live a sinless life, because it is impossible for Christ to commit sin. But if we turn away, The Holy Spirit will leave us and never return, and we will be held accountable for all of our transgressions.

Joh 6:37-40  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The First Resurrection will occur when Christ returns on The Last Day, which is The Lord’s Day, The Day of The Lord, the Millennium.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.
