The Tongues of Pentecost — Part 1

Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

This verse describes The Fourth Seal, The Captivity of The Elect, when we are taken prisoner by The Antichrist and his servants. For what purpose? This verse then describes The Fifth Seal, The Testimony of The Elect, when we are filled with The Holy Spirit to give our Testimony against The Antichrist.

The Seven Seals are very simple to understand, and all who do understand them cannot be deceived easily. Recall that The First Seal taught us that before Christ returns, first must come many false Christians, or antichrists, who will deceive many. Then ultimately must come The Antichrist, or False Messiah, who will deceive the whole world. Our testimony will be against that one, my friends, who will be none other than That Old Serpent, Satan, The Devil, coming into this world pretending to be Jesus Christ returned.

Mark 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

The Good News of The New Covenant must be preached to all nations of this world.

Don’t kid yourselves to think that hypocrites and antichrists running around this world proclaiming a lot of fairy tales and babble-boo in order to make money for themselves and their religious corporations have done a good job of teaching The Gospel. Instead the whole world is totally confused about what “Thus Saith The Lord,” even though His Word is so simple even children can understand perfectly when they are properly taught. But the Absolute Truth of God’s Word must be taught worldwide before The Lord returns.

Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

After we are taken prisoners, we must not try to think of what to say. In other words, we should stay quiet and keep our mouths shut. The Holy Spirit will fill us with knowledge and understanding at the proper moment so that Christ Jesus will literally speak through us at that time. That’s when we should open our mouths and speak, but not by our own thoughts and ideas, but by the unction of The Holy Spirit in us.

Mark 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

The word “winter” is from the Greek “khi-mone'” which means “to pour, meaning a storm (as pouring rain).” So our Lord commands us to pray that we do not run away at this time of The Pouring Out! Before this time, run away from The Antichrist as fast as you can go, at least mentally, because he will be in The Temple declaring that he is God!

But when it is time to give our testimony, do not run away, but instead be a willing servant and instrument of The Lord. This, my friends, is our Divinely Ordained Mission in These Last Days. If you want to know what is God’s Will for your life, this is it!

Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

This will be the most difficult time that ever was since In The Beginning. But those who are deceived will not perceive any trouble at all, instead only peace and safety. But for us, The Elect, it will be very difficult indeed.

How can we, even though we understand God’s Word regarding this time, endure the deception of a cherub, alias, Lucifer? He is coming de-facto into this world and will walk upon this earth to deceive everybody into believing that He is God Almighty.

He deceived at least one third of God’s Angels (Children) in The First Earth Age, leading to its destruction, and he is going to do it again in This Second Earth Age! And here we stand in the weakness of sinful flesh.

Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Daniel prophesied that there would be seven years of the tribulation of The Antichrist. This was that seventieth week of Daniel’s prophesy. But Jesus explains that those days have been shortened, because otherwise no one dwelling in a flesh body could endure without losing their Eternal Life.

That time has been shortened to five months as revealed in Revelation:

Rev 9:5  And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

Do not be deceived, anyone who has been saved, who has received The New Covenant, must never turn away into idolatry or any other willful sin, because otherwise he would have to crucify Christ again in order to atone for those sins, which is impossible!

Heb 6:4-6  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,  And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Never blaspheme The Righteous Blood of Jesus by doing such a vile thing. I warn you, but I honestly don’t believe it is possible that you would ever do such a thing, my friends.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

The Tongues of Pentecost — Part 2

Act 1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

The word “Theophilus” is from the Greek “theh-of’-il-os” which means “friend of God.”

Therefore this book is written also to us in The Last Days, who are the friends of God in this world. Acts is attributed to Luke, so his “former treatise” would be The Gospel of Luke.

Act 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

Our Lord taught the disciples from The Old Testament for three years and then gave them certain additional commandments, because their lives and testimonies were soon to be incorporated into The Word of God for future generations to perceive.

Act 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His Chosen for forty days, and continued to teach them more details concerning The Kingdom of God.

Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

Jesus commanded His Disciples not to leave Jerusalem after His ascension, but to wait for The Promise of The Holy Spirit, The Comforter.

Act 1:5-6 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

The disciples asked Him if He would now, after His resurrection, restore Israel as a sovereign nation, as it was in old time.

Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Jesus answered that His Disciples were not given that information as to when Israel would be re-established. But we know now that since it was defeated and put under subjection by foreign powers for the last twenty-five hundred years, it was finally made a sovereign nation again in May, 1948, by that Baby Beast called The United Nations. That date is very special, my friends, because the clock marking The Last Generation began to tick from that time and will continue to the end of this flesh world.

Note that the Bible defines a generation as one of a forty, seventy, or one-hundred and twenty year span of time. Forty years passed in 1988. And the seventy-year mark was passed in 2018. So the next span would extend to 2068, or one-hundred and twenty years. Our Father has given us knowledge of the season, at least, of when our Lord will return to establish His Eternal Kingdom. But our Father also uses the term “generation” to mean a class of people, such as The Very Elect, that continues throughout multiple physical generations. No man can know the day and hour of our Lord’s return. So we must not try to predict, but just follow the signs and seasons that He has given to us in His Seven Seals to know when that time is near.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus then explained that they would “receive power.” The word “power” is from “doo’-nam-is” which means “force (literally or figuratively); specifically miraculous power (usually by implication a miracle itself).”

The Lord’s Disciples with this “Divine Force” would be witnesses “unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Then our Lord ascended into Heaven, having given His Disciples this final message concerning The Holy Spirit or Mind that they would receive.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

The Tongues of Pentecost — Part 3

Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

All of the disciples were together in one place, most likely the same upper room where they had The Last Supper with The Lord before His crucifixion. This was the fiftieth day after The Passover, the day our Lord was crucified.

Act 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The word “tongues” is from the Greek “gloce’-sah” which means “the tongue; by implication a language (specifically one naturally unacquired).” This word means “a language” but specially one that must be learned later than childhood, that is to say, a foreign language.

The Holy Spirit gave them the ability to speak in foreign languages.

Act 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

There were Israelites present in that room from every nation in the world, who were devout regarding God’s Law. No doubt they spoke the languages of the indigenous peoples of the nations in which they grew up. Recall that all twelve tribes of Israel had been scattered throughout the Gentile nations because of their apostasy, the ten northern tribes after their enslavement by the Assyrians, and the two southern tribes after their enslavement by the Babylonians. Only a small remnant of those tribes remained in The Land of Judea at the time of Christ and at this time.

Act 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

This word “language” is from “dee-al’-ek-tos” which means “dialect.”

The disciples were not only speaking in foreign languages but also in the very dialects of the local regions in which those foreign men lived. In America, if one grows up in Alabama, he or she can tell when someone speaks with a Brooklyn accent, or a Texan accent, or a California “Valley Girl” accent. They all sound very different and usually don’t say things like “ya’ll”. Even if they come from the mountains of North Carolina and say something like “hit don’t matter,” well that’s different than they speak in Alabama, and those folks can tell. That’s because of dialect, though the same basic language, but very different in pronunciation and use of words.

They were all “confounded” which is from “soong-kheh’-o” which means “perplexed.” Why?

Act 2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Because the disciples were all from the land of Galilee, a hill country near the city of Jerusalem.

Act 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

This word “tongue” is also from “dee-al’-ek-tos” which is dialect. So they were all perplexed because the disciples should not be able to speak in their native languages and even in the dialects of their home towns where they had grown up as children.

Act 2:9-11 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

And what did they hear the disciples speak in their languages and dialects? The Wonderful Works of God.

This was the evidence of The Holy Spirit that Jesus promised His Disciples would receive not too long after He ascended into Heaven. The disciples needed no interpreters, but spoke directly in foreign languages, languages they did not naturally know from their childhood nor had even learned in school later.

They spoke with The Voice of God Almighty, by The Power or “Dunamis” promised by Jesus.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

The Tongues of Pentecost — Part 4

Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

We learn later in this book that the seven candlesticks are seven churches, or types of churches in this world. And the time set for this teaching is The Day of The Lord, or the beginning of The Millennial Reign of Christ.

Rev 1:13-15 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

This is a description of The Glorified Christ Jesus, The Living Word of God. Now note the sound of His voice, “the sound of many waters.” We learn what those “waters” are in a later verse.

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The word “tongues” is from the Greek “gloce’-sah” which means “languages.” So the “sound of many waters” is the languages of peoples, multitudes, and nations.

Rev 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

So we see that our Lord’s Voice is of all languages of mankind spoken together, but such that each person hears what is spoken clearly in his own native language and dialect. Only God can speak with this Voice, my friends, or those Elect whom God empowers to speak at a set time.

And Jesus had told His disciples to be ready at the set time for The Holy Spirit. The Day of Pentecost was the set time for those disciples, two thousand years ago. And The Fifth Seal teaches us that our set time is when we must give our testimony against The Antichrist.

Act 2:12-13 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Well, even a miracle can be interpreted by unbelievers as just a bunch of drunks acting out when people don’t think things through logically. But one thing is certain, they were all amazed by what they had just witnessed.

Act 2:14-15 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Peter stood up to reason with everybody, explaining that the disciples were not drunk since it was only nine in the morning, and it was unlawful to drink before noon on a high holy day such as Pentecost. Peter understood exactly what was happening, what this miraculous event represented in God’s Word.

Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Joel had prophesied about this event. The phrase “this is that” is a figure of speech meaning “an example.” And Peter explains that this was simply an example of what Joel had spoken about.

Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

This prophesy of Joel pertains to The Last Days, the time leading up to the end of this world, or just before The Return of The Lord.

Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

This is that “pouring out” that Jesus warned us to pray that we not be trying to run away from at that time. This is the “pouring out” of The Holy Spirit.

Act 2:19-21 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

So we see that ultimately, this example of The Tongues given on The Day of Pentecost was just that, an example. Because these events described are clearly regarding the time of The Antichrist when he comes into this world, at the very end.

So The Tongues of Pentecost was a miraculous event to demonstrate the Power and “Voice” of The Most High which would be given to The Elect at the end of this world in order to give their testimony against The Antichrist.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

The Tongues of Pentecost — Part 5

Act 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Peter was preaching Christ to Gentiles, and suddenly The Holy Spirit came upon those who believed among them.

Act 10:45-47 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

These Gentiles, that is, people not descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, had received The Holy Spirit or Mind of Christ, according to the promise of The New Covenant. And this fact dumbfounded the Israelites who were not expecting such a thing. Note that those Gentiles spoke with foreign languages and dialects magnifying God just as the disciples had demonstrated on The Day of Pentecost.

Act 11:12-15 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house: And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved. And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

Peter explains that he was led by The Holy Spirit to go to a Gentile man’s house and teach him and those with him about The Gospel, The New Covenant between God and man. And they received The Holy Spirit and spoke in foreign languages and dialects just as the disciples had done “at the beginning,” that is, on the day of Pentecost.

There was no interpreter involved in anyone understanding this “Voice” from The Holy Spirit, these “tongues.” It was certainly not “unknown,” but on the contrary, everyone understood clearly because they heard not only in their own native language but in the very dialect of the home town in which they were born and raised. Nobody can fake this act, my friends.

And it convinced everyone who heard it that God was working a miracle before them all to witness. When The Holy Spirit came upon the Gentiles, it convinced the disciples, who were Israelites, that God’s Promises of The New Covenant were freely given to the Gentiles also, not just to Israel.

We can therefore conclude, that many of God’s Elect in These Last Days will come from among the Gentile Nations, the Races of Mankind, not just from among the Caucasian Christians. We are all one in Christ Jesus, and all in Christ have The Same Destiny.

So we can expect that at the set time for The Fourth Seal and The Fifth Seal that when The Very Elect speak with The Tongues of Pentecost on international TV that the whole world will be dumbfounded just as that multitude of Jehovah Worshipers were when they heard The Disciples Speak with them two thousand years ago. This will be our time to allow The Lord to speak through us to call millions of others to repentance and to turn away from The Antichrist before The Lord returns.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.
