The Mark of The Beast — Part 1

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

The word “revelation” is from the Greek “ap-ok-al’-oop-sis” which means “disclosure.”

Isn’t that frightening? Our Lord is revealing some truths to us about things soon to come to pass. Surely this makes people tremble in their boots at the very thought of learning the truth. This is the word that antichrists have twisted into what is commonly presented as monsters and calamities and utter destruction coming into this world, or even, brace yourself, THE APOCALYPSE! Oh no! The End of The World!

Well, it is about the end of this flesh world, but The Elect should all be happy about that, because then our time of testing in Satan’s World will be over.

Rev 1:2-3 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

The angel of The Lord gave this to John who bare record of The Word of God, particularly in his gospel called by his name, “John.”

Rev 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

John is writing to The Seven Churches and sends a message of unmerited favor and peace from The Eternal and from The Seven Spirits of God.

What are The Seven Spirits of God?

Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

The word “spirit” is from the Hebrew “roo’-akh” which means “wind” or “breath” but figuratively means “spirit” or “mind.”

We do not use the word “spirit” anymore except regarding mystical or mythological things, so it is best to translate it as “mind” because that is the word we commonly use today, meaning the intellect.

We can see that The Holy Spirit in The Messiah would manifest as Mental Perfection, because He would have The Seven Spirits of God:

1) The Holy Spirit,
2) Spirit of Wisdom,
3) Spirit of Understanding,
4) Spirit of Counsel,
5) Spirit of Might,
6) Spirit of Knowledge,
7) Spirit of Reverence

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And this message is also from Jesus, The Messiah, The Faithful Witness, The First Begotten of The Dead, Prince of Kings, Who loved us and washed away our transgressions in His Own Blood.

Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

And Jesus also “made us kings and priests.”

The word “amen” is from “am-ane’” and means “properly firm, that is, (figuratively) trustworthy; adverbially surely (often as interjection so be it).”

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

After His resurrection, Our Lord ascended into the clouds and ultimately into Heaven. When He returns, He will return the same way, from the clouds.

Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Christ Jesus is the “Alpha and Omega,” “The Beginning and Ending,” and He is The Eternal, The Almighty God.

Rev 1:9-10 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

“The Lord’s Day” is “The Day of The Lord” which is a one thousand year period of time, also called The Millennial Reign of Christ, when He comes as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

How is it that Christ Jesus, our Lord God, is The First and the Last, The Beginning and Ending?

Exo 3:13-15  And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

“haw-yaw’ ash-er’ haw-yaw’”: “haw-yah” is Hebrew meaning “to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary).” “ash-er” means “A primitive relative pronoun (of every gender and number); who, which, what, that; also (as adverb and conjunction) when, where, how, because, in order that, etc.”

So the phrase spoken by The Lord, “I AM THAT I AM”, literally means “I exist and become, and Am The One that exists and becomes.”

Our Creator was before the creation of the heavens and earth. And He also is now. And He will be throughout the eternity. His Plan for the Three World Ages is His Plan for Becoming even greater, as we join with Him and become One with Him in One Body for The Eternity. Meditate on this precept.

This teaching was to be spread among all of the churches or types of churches so that every Christian would understand these things. Our Lord’s teaching is not a secret, and is not sealed such that no one can understand. On the contrary, it is wide open for all to read and clearly comprehend. That’s what the word “ap-ok-al’-oop-sis” means.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

The Mark of The Beast — Part 2

Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

In his vision given to him by the angel of The Lord, John saw seven golden candlesticks. These candlesticks are symbols, and our Lord will explain them very shortly as a teaching example for us today.

Rev 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

The Son of Man is one of our Lord’s titles, and represents His dominion over the earth and everything in the earth. He is clothed in a priest’s garment.

Rev 1:14-15 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

This image depicts our Lord in His Glory. Note that His “voice” is the sound of many people, nations, and languages, that is, all languages of mankind spoken simultaneously. Only God can speak with this voice, my friends.

Deu 4:23-24  Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.  For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

And our Lord in His Glory IS A CONSUMING FIRE!

Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Our Lord is holding “seven stars” in His right hand. What are they?

Out of His mouth is “a sharp twoedged sword.” The Sword is The Word of God that comes out of His mouth.

And His countenance was “as the sun,” naturally because our God is “A Consuming Fire!” And that’s why no man can look into the Face of God and continue living in the flesh.

Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

John fell down as dead at the sight of looking into the face of The Eternal, Who touched John and told him not to be afraid. Our Lord was before The Man Adam, who was the first son of God, and our Lord was The Last Adam in the flesh. Therefore He is also called The First and The Last.

Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Our Lord Lives Forever, even though He was dead for three days. He also has “The Keys of Hell and of Death.”

The word “hell” is from the Greek “hah’-dace” which means “properly unseen, that is, ‘Hades’ or the place (state) of departed souls.” We know that when our flesh bodies die, we return to our Father in Heaven in our spiritual bodies. So our Lord has power over the souls of all who have lived and died on this earth. But they are not dead, my friends. None of our loved ones who have departed this mortal coil are dead, but are waiting for all of these events to be completed.

The word “death” is from “than’-at-os” which means “death (literally or figuratively).” This is The Second Death, or Death of The Soul, which can only occur in The Lake of Fire at The Great White Throne Judgment at the end of The Millennium. Our Lord also has power over this “Death.”

Rev 1:19-20 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Jesus then explains these symbols. The “seven stars” are the “angels” or “messengers” of the seven churches. And the “seven candlesticks” are the “seven churches.” Our Lord explains these things as a teaching example, because in this way we can analyze and gain the understanding of this Book.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

The Mark of The Beast — Part 3

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

From the “sea” rises up a beast having “seven heads” and “ten horns” and on its horns “ten crowns” and on its heads was the “name of blasphemy.” Our Father’s Word explains Himself if we will patiently seek the understanding through prayer and meditation. Understanding comes by reading The Book.

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The “waters” or sea are “peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.” So this “beast” rises up from the people, nations, and languages of this world.

“Heads” are dominions or continents. “Horns” are powers. “Crowns” are worn by kings. So this “beast” which rises up out of all people of this world is over seven continents, thus it is worldwide, and has ten kings ruling over it. Therefore this “beast” is a One-World Government.

And over all of its continents or dominions is The Defamation of God Most High, indicating that it is Satanic in nature.

Dan 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

In chapter seven of Daniel we learn of four powerful governments. This verse describes the fourth or last government leading up to the end of this world, culminating with the appearance of The Antichrist. It was different from the others preceding it, because it had ten horns, or powers. Just add crowns and we see ten kings over this government in Daniel, just as we see in Revelation.

But we have learned in the early twentieth century that crowns are not necessary to have a dictator over the people. The kingdoms of Europe were overthrown and tyrannical dictators took their places, not called kings, but instead were called this, that, and the other. So at least in this fact, this Last World Government is diverse from all of the others before it.

Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

This beast in Revelation is described as being like a “leopard” with feet like a “bear” and with a mouth like a “lion.” But where did it get its power? From “The Dragon.” What is this dragon?

God’s Word interprets itself, at least to those who have eyes to see, meaning, you’ve got to look first and then you will find it. I encourage you to read chapter by chapter in your private study.

Rev 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Satan, That Old Serpent, The Devil, is the Dragon who gives his power to the first beast of Revelation. He will be cast out of Heaven by The Archangel Michael down to this earth, along with his fallen angels.

The Fallen Angels are coming to earth again, my friends. Do you long for the exciting days of the wild, wild west? Well, how about the wild, wild days of Noah? They were pretty exciting too, and they’re coming to a world near you.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The name “Satan” is from the root Hebrew word “saw-tan’” which means “to attack, (figuratively) accuse.” Satan is the false accuser, or slanderer. Legally he is the chief prosecutor in Heaven against us.

Isn’t that ironic? Satan leads people to transgress God’s Law and then stands up in Heaven to accuse them.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Those who overcome the deception of Satan by the blood of Christ, give their testimony even when their personal livelihoods have to be forfeited.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

“Woe to the inhabiters of the earth!” Why? “For the devil is come down to you!”

Well, my friends, this has not happened yet, but is going to happen at the very end of this flesh age.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.

The Mark of The Beast — Part 4

Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

We see these exact same animals mentioned in Daniel chapter seven, but here they are parts of this beast system described in Revelation. The “leopard” is “Persia,” now “Iran,” the “bear” is “Esau,” now “Russia,” and the “lion” is “Judah,” now “Israel.” Isn’t this a very strange alliance, between Russia, Iran, and Israel?

Anyone who has paid even a little bit of attention to world events over the last fifty years knows that these three nations so far cannot get along for very long, anymore than one could mix iron and clay in order to make an alloy of sorts. They do not mix!

But one thing provides cohesion, “the dragon gave him his power.” The dragon is Satan.

Dan 2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.

Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon, and had conquered Judah and Benjamin and taken them as slaves. The king had a dream that troubled him, and Daniel was brought in to interpret his dream.

Dan 2:32-33 This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

So we see the head, the breast and arms, the belly and thighs, and the legs, and finally the feet. Note that the feet are composed of iron and clay. Those two things simply cannot mix together.

Dan 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

That “stone” was our Lord Jesus Christ, the “stone” which the builders rejected but which has become the head cornerstone. Therefore it will be The Assembly of Christ’s Elect that breaks those feet into pieces, and not just them, but the whole thing will come tumbling down.

Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

That “stone” became a “great mountain,” or “great nation” which fills the entire earth. This symbolizes The Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of Lords, because He will be called The God of The Whole Earth.

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Note that these kings do not reign in succession or over a long period of time one by one, but will reign at the same time for “one hour,” which is a set length of time.

Rev 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

These kings have one common mindset and are dedicated to “the beast.”

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

They will fight against Christ’s Elect, and will take them captive, which is The Fourth Seal.

Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

This One-World Government, today called The New World Order, will suffer a Deadly Wound, which must be some kind of political disaster sparked from one of the continents or dominions that causes that world-wide government to fall apart. What would cause a political breakdown?

This could be caused by The Tongues of Pentecost, The Testimony of The Elect, which is The Fifth Seal. But keep in mind that it may happen before that event, even before Satan is cast out of Heaven to the earth.

And we know that The Dragon will give that system its power and heal the Deadly Wound. It will be The Antichrist that takes The Elect into captivity, and their Testimony is against him and against this beast system. This will all happen within that “one hour.”

The One-World Government will be shattered to pieces, and then somehow that political wound is “healed” so that the whole world is amazed.

Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to hear, let him hear.
